Clicks Group is seeking to appoint an accomplished and commercially astute Executive: Project Value Office to provide senior leadership across the Group's strategic project and transformation portfolio. This is a critical leadership role responsible for strengthening portfolio governance, enabling disciplined programme delivery and ensuring that major initiatives deliver measurable business value, return on investment and sustainable transformation outcomes.

The successful candidate will lead the Project Value Office and work closely with executive, IT, Finance, Operations and business stakeholders to prioritise, govern and monitor enterprise-wide programmes. The role requires a strong balance of strategic insight, delivery discipline, executive influence, financial acumen and the ability to drive value realisation across complex, Group-wide initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Group-wide value and transformation portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, approved business cases and measurable business outcomes.
• Embedding PMO governance frameworks, delivery standards, reporting disciplines and escalation mechanisms across major programmes.
• Driving benefits realisation, return-on-investment tracking and value measurement across strategic IT and transformation initiatives.
• Partnering with executive and business stakeholders to manage dependencies, resolve delivery barriers and support effective transformation execution.
• Overseeing portfolio budgets, resources, vendor inputs and delivery capacity to enable cost-effective and sustainable programme outcomes.
• Leading and developing a high-performing Project Value Office team focused on governance discipline, delivery excellence and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A relevant degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Formal project, programme or portfolio management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, MoP or equivalent.
• 10-12 years' relevant experience in IT, programme management, portfolio management, PMO leadership or large-scale business transformation.
• At least 5 years' experience in a senior management role, with proven exposure to enterprise-wide programmes and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Strong capability in portfolio planning, governance, benefits realisation, financial tracking, vendor oversight and value delivery.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, healthcare, pharmacy, digital commerce or complex multi-business-unit environments would be advantageous.
