A leading and highly diversified South African organisation is looking for an experienced IT Project Management Office Lead to take ownership of a complex IT portfolio and drive the successful delivery of strategic, high-impact technology programmes.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished IT Programme / Portfolio Management professional who thrives in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment and understands how to translate business strategy into a prioritised, value-driven technology portfolio.
You will operate at the intersection of IT strategy, programme governance, project delivery, business operations and executive stakeholder management, providing the leadership and structure required to deliver multiple large-scale initiatives within agreed scope, time, cost and quality parameters.

Key Requirements:

• IT or Business-related Honours degree.
• Minimum 5 years' programme management experience.
• Proven experience managing complex, large-scale IT programmes and portfolios.
• Strong understanding of IT project delivery methodologies and IT systems.
• PMP certification.
• Agile Practitioner certification.
• Demonstrable experience in portfolio prioritisation, programme governance, risk management and financial control.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive reporting capability.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for establishing, managing and executing the IT project portfolio in alignment with business-unit strategies, business plans and broader IT and Operational Technology (OT) strategy.
The role requires someone who can see the bigger picture while maintaining control of the detail - from portfolio prioritisation and investment decisions through to programme execution, risk management, financial governance and transition into operations.
