  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers by understanding customer needs and providing relevant product and business solutions.

  • Identify and develop sales and growth opportunities.

  • Deliver sustainable sales performance and create long-term customer value.

  • Align account plans with marketing programs and management direction, using territory and customer analysis to support sales targets.

  • Effective key account management skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

  • IT literacy, including the ability to use standard business software, CRM platforms and communication tools.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel outside the territory may be required from time to time.

  • Manage a geographically extensive territory with customer coverage scheduled according to agreed plans, including coverage cycles of four to six weeks where applicable.

  • The role may require extended hours and weekend work for special program events and/or training.

  • Successful candidate will be required to reside in Gauteng with proximity to the East Rand.

  • Confident, credible, approachable and professional in customer interactions.

  • Collaborative and attentive, with the ability to listen, understand different perspectives and work constructively with others.

  • Strong learning agility, with a commitment to continuous development and the ability to use setbacks to improve future performance.

  • Persistent, resilient and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.

  • Adaptable and flexible when customer, market or business needs change.

  • Well organised and able to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational requirements.

  • Team-oriented and willing to share information, best practice and support across roles, regions and business areas.
