Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mining operations, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and safely
• Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring targets are met within budget
• Manage and mentor a team of miners, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated
• Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
• Maintain equipment and infrastructure, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed
• Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Opencast Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines
• 2 Valid Opencast Coal Mine Machine Licenses
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in coal mining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of mining regulations and safety procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
