Overview

The Bread Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining bakery equipment used in the bread-making process. The role ensures that dough preparation, proofing, baking and packaging operations are carried out efficiently, safely and in compliance with quality and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Operate and monitor bakery equipment such as mixers, dough dividers, proofers, ovens, and slicers.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to production formulas and schedules.
• Ensure correct dough consistency, fermentation times, and baking parameters.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and consistency.

Quality Control

• Inspect products for consistency in size, shape, weight, and color.
• Record production data such as batch numbers, ingredient usage, and yield.
• Report any product or process deviations to the supervisor immediately.

Health, Safety and Hygiene

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
