Job summary

Zeal HR (Pty) Ltd, on behalf of a client in the FMCG sector, seeks a hands-on Production & Operations Supervisor based in Malmesbury.

You will oversee daily factory and warehouse operations, lead a team of about 14 staff, manage production planning, stock accuracy and lean improvements, and collaborate with sales, procurement and warehousing to ensure on-time delivery and high inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience in FMCG manufacturing, production or warehouse.
• Previous supervisory experience in similar environment.
• Strong production planning and scheduling experience.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with stock control and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and coordination with teams.
• Lead and supervise ~14 production and warehouse staff, assign tasks.
• Manage stock movements, picking, transfers, and dispatch processes.
• Maintain ERP data, generate and analyse operational reports.
• Drive lean improvements and data‑driven decision making, including AI tools where relevant.
