Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a Midrand facility. You will lead a team of production staff, drive efficiency, ensure quality, and uphold safety standards on the shop floor.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and experience with production scheduling. You will collaborate with maintenance and quality control to minimize downtime and waste while meeting targets and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and quality control systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Ensure all production targets are met on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Implement and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the production area.
