Job summary

SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Production Administrator to support the production team by capturing large volumes of data into relevant databases and systems. The role reports to the Divisional Director and focuses on accuracy, confidentiality, and meeting deadlines.

You will maintain electronic and physical records, assist with reports, and perform ad-hoc duties while ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management software.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ data capturing or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain data into relevant databases and systems.
• Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical records.
• Assist with data audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Handle multiple data entry tasks efficiently and meet set deadlines.
• Provide support for other administrative and ad-hoc duties as required.
• Assist in creating and managing reports and documents as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
• Perform routine checks to ensure the integrity of entered data.
• Completion of daily machine hours report.
• Capturing defects on daily machine checklist onto C Works.
• Capturing of defects onto C Works pick up by Ryan while doing branch visits.
• Capturing of all incidents onto SHREQ Manager.
• Updating of wash and grease report.
• Perform Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
