Job summary

SA Metal in Cape Town is seeking a Production Administrator to support the production team with data capture and reporting. The role focuses on accurate data entry, maintaining records, and ensuring data integrity across systems.

You will report to the Divisional Director and handle routine checks, generate reports, and assist with ad-hoc duties while upholding confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and data management software.
• Minimum of 2-3 years` data capturing or administrative experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain data into relevant databases and systems.
• Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical records.
• Assist with data audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Handle multiple data entry tasks efficiently and meet set deadlines.
• Provide support for other administrative and ad-hoc duties as required.
• Assist in creating and managing reports and documents as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
• Perform routine checks to ensure the integrity of entered data.
• Completion of daily machine hours report.
• Capturing defects on daily machine checklist onto C Works.
• Capturing defects onto C Works pickup by Ryan during branch visits.
• Capturing all incidents onto SHREQ Manager.
• Updating of wash and grease report.
• Perform Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
