Job summary

Betway Africa in Johannesburg is seeking a trading/risk analyst to monitor sports events, betting activity, liabilities and risk exposure in real time. You will manage positions across sports to optimise profitability, support bet limit decisions and investigate market trends to inform trading actions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with numbers, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while liaising with internal teams and providing UAT

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong awareness of sportsbook operations, including fixtures, settlement, and results.
• Perform end-to-end platform testing to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Support sportsbook configuration and operational setup.
• Contribute to broader business activities, including after hours support where required.
