What you’ll do

• Monitoring live betting activity and sports events to identify irregular behaviour as it happens
• Detecting and responding to emerging risks across markets and regions
• Investigating suspicious betting patterns and taking appropriate action to mitigate exposure
• Supporting the management of risk during live events in fast-moving environments
• Escalating high-risk or unusual activity to relevant teams
• Providing feedback on new and emerging behaviours to Behaviour and Trading leads
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of monitoring tools and processes

• In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
• Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
• Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
• Experience in sportsbook, trading, or live operations environments
• Understanding of betting markets and odds
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Kibana, ElasticSearch)
• Basic SQL or data querying skills
