Job summary

Super Group International is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate stakeholder needs into future-state capabilities, lead workshops, and document requirements for agile delivery. You will drive process improvements and work closely with executives, product owners and delivery teams to ensure successful implementations.

You will facilitate workshops, elicit and analyse requirements, and develop business cases while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Analysis or related field.
• Solid experience translating business needs into functional specs.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Proven track record delivering complex projects and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit and validate requirements.
• Translate high-level needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

As our Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a key part in delivering business and technology solutions that align stakeholder needs with strategic objectives, translating current-state processes into future-state capabilities, getting hands‑on with facilitating workshops, eliciting and analysing requirements, engaging with business and technology stakeholders, documenting business and functional requirements, mapping current and future state processes, validating solutions, supporting delivery teams, and driving requirements through to implementation. What you’ll do

Leadership & Mentoring

Act as a thought leader within the Business Analysis team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Influence strategic decision-making by presenting well‑structured analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit, prioritise, and validate complex business requirements.

Develop comprehensive business cases, feasibility studies, and cost‑benefit analyses to support decision‑making.

Translate high‑level business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Agile Delivery Support

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

Prioritise requirements and ensure clarity and feasibility of user stories with acceptance criteria.

Strategic Analysis & Process Improvement

Analyse current business processes, systems, and data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with long‑term strategic goals.

Recommend innovative solutions to address complex business challenges and deliver measurable value.

Stakeholder Engagement & Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including executives, product owners, and external partners.

Provide timely updates on project task progress, risks, and dependencies.

Facilitate conflict resolution and negotiation to align diverse stakeholder interests.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, including process maps, data flows, and system designs.

Create visual aids such as wireframes, mockups, or prototypes to clarify requirements.

Ensure that all documentation is up to date, accessible, and aligned with organisational standards.

Testing & Validation

Support testing efforts by creating detailed acceptance criteria and validating delivered functionality against requirements.

Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address feedback to ensure successful handover.

• Business Analysis Diploma, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, BSc, B.com, B.Bus Sci or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (e.g., SAFe, DSDM).
• Expertise in writing detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and process modelling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and driving measurable business outcomes.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

• In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
• Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
• Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
• Experience in leading enterprise‑wide transformation projects.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and tools for prototyping and journey mapping.
