Job summary

Takealot Group Fulfilment in Cape Town is seeking a Product Lead for our Dark Store Systems to own the strategic roadmap and the functional requirements for our hyper-local micro-fulfillment network.

You will bridge operations, commercial teams, and engineering to enable ultra-fast delivery, define stock transfer workflows, live stock visibility, and the driver-to-store handoff for seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in a related field.
• 7+ years in software product management or related exposure.
• Experience with warehouse/ fulfillment software and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic roadmap and functional requirements for dark store systems.
• Bridge operations, commercial teams, and engineering for ultra-fast delivery.
• Define stock transfer workflows and real-time stock visibility rules.
• Oversee overselling prevention logic and driver-to-store handshakes.
