Takealot Group in Cape Town seeks a Product Manager for On Demand Delivery Execution to own the roadmap for the on-demand logistics platform powering 20,000 drivers. You will partner with engineering, design, and operations to deliver scalable delivery execution backed by data.

You’ll translate business needs into initiatives, define requirements, monitor metrics like delivery times and driver utilization, and drive cross-functional delivery from design to release in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma with 4+ years in product management or business analysis.
• Experience in agile/project environments is beneficial.
• Prior logistics, on-demand delivery, or ecommerce exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the roadmap for on-demand logistics features powering a 20,000-driver network.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations and executives to improve delivery systems.
• Translate business needs into actionable initiatives and requirements (OKRs & BRs).
• Evolve product management practices for a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Define and monitor metrics (delivery times, driver utilization, cost per delivery).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams from design through release, tracking progress.
