Job summary

Sasso Consulting (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng invites an experienced Product Compliance Manager to establish and maintain product compliance, technical risk, and training frameworks within a mining and safety-critical environment. The role focuses on MHSA compliance and product certification throughout the lifecycle.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage RMA and investigations, and ensure readiness for audits while travelling to branches and client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Risk Management or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in product compliance, risk, or reliability.
• At least 3 years’ experience leading technical or multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product compliance, technical risk, reliability, safety and training frameworks.
• Ensure products comply with MHSA, laws, standards and customer requirements throughout lifecycle.
• Manage product certification and recertification including regulatory approvals.
• Oversee risk-driven investigations (FMEA, WRAC, root-cause) and corrective actions.
• Maintain technical files, test reports and documentation for audits and regulatory needs.
• Lead and develop Technical Trainers and competency-based training materials.
