Staff Focus is seeking a Procurement Manager to take full ownership of the procurement department in Gauteng. The role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who can monitor activity, resolve issues, and optimize supplier performance.

The successful candidate will manage stock control, purchasing planning, and negotiating terms to protect margins while driving efficiencies. Strong analytical skills and ERP/Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Diploma or Degree in Procurement or related field advantageous.
• 5–7 years in procurement, 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Proven experience managing procurement function, team and supplier relations.
• Strong stock control, inventory management and procurement planning.
• Ability to negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery terms.
• Understanding of cost control, budgeting and gross margins.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP procurement/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience managing a procurement function, purchasing team and supplier relationships.
• Strong experience in stock control, inventory management and procurement planning.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms and delivery arrangements.
• Good understanding of cost control, budgeting and gross profit margins.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and procurement/inventory management systems (ERP).
