The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing supply chain efficiencies and maintaining effective financial controls within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and maintain a network of cost-effective suppliers that provide high-quality raw materials and packaging.
• Manage a supplier database ensuring full compliance with BEE standards and organizational requirements.
• Monitor and report on stock levels to ensure the timely supply of goods while managing and reducing raw material wastage.
• Establish and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are prioritized.
• Manage and set the regional procurement budget, maintaining rigorous financial controls and reporting structures.
• Advise the executive team on potential savings opportunities, procurement risks, and alternative sourcing strategies.
• Accurately forecast raw material requirements in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Negotiate and manage optimal contractual relationships with all suppliers to ensure delivery performance and quality standards.
• Oversee the management of slow-moving stock and drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.
• Stay abreast of technical improvements and industry trends to enhance price negotiations and budgetary management.

Requirements
