Job summary

JVR Software in Centurion is seeking a seasoned Procurement Supervisor to lead stock control, purchasing and supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective procurement and timely delivery.

You will manage planning, negotiation, budget awareness and ERP/Excel-based reporting to maintain margins and discipline within the procurement function. The role requires 5–7 years in procurement with 2–3 in management and the ability to optimise stock levels while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Matric is required; diploma/degree in procurement or related field advantageous.
• Minimum 5–7 years in procurement or purchasing with 2–3 years in supervision/management.
• Proven experience managing procurement function, purchasing team and supplier relationships.
• Strong experience in stock control, inventory management and procurement planning.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier pricing, terms and delivery arrangements.
• Good understanding of cost control, budgeting and gross profit margins.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and procurement/inventory management systems (ERP).
