Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager in South Africa to develop and implement cost-efficient procurement strategies, build supplier networks, and lead a high-performing procurement team. The role requires Afrikaans speaking and strong leadership in a meat industry context.

You will manage day-to-day activities, forecast demand with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with policies and quality standards while driving continuous improvement and reporting on

Qualifications

• Agriculture/ Meat Industry exposure – NON-NEGOTIABLE.
• 5+ years' procurement experience.
• 5+ years' management experience.
• Afrikaans speaking.
• Knowledge and awareness of trends in the meat industry.
• Marketing and Sales.
• Financial Awareness.
• Detail focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective supply.
