Professional Resources Partners Pty Ltd is seeking a Procurement Officer in the East Rand, Gauteng. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement, sourcing raw materials and services, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely supply for manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in procurement within construction products, with exposure to international purchasing and SAP experience.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in the construction products industry.
• Experience procuring raw materials.
• Experience with international procurement, imports and exports.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with procurement or ERP systems; SAP experience advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the procurement process from sourcing and quotations to PO placement and supplier delivery.
• Procure raw materials, packaging, finished products, consumables and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers; negotiate pricing and terms for cost-effective purchasing.
• Raise and manage requisitions, RFQs, POs and supplier agreements.
• Coordinate local and international procurement activities including imports/exports and shipping docs.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, pricing, availability and lead times.
• Follow up on orders and manage shortages, delays and risks.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Finance and Logistics to ensure material availability.
• Ensure suppliers provide SDS, COA, product specs and compliance docs.
• Verify goods received meet PO requirements.
