The role requires at least a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of five years in process safety within the chemical sector, plus strong analytical, training, and incident-investigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process safety engineering within the chemical industry.
• Deep knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and standards (OSHA PSM, EPA RMP).
• Proven experience conducting PHAs (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA).
• Familiarity with safety instrumented systems (SIS) and LOPA.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction hazards, flammability and toxicity.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and training delivery capabilities.
