Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Process Safety Engineer to strengthen safety protocols at Richards Bay's oil and gas operations. The role focuses on identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing robust safety measures to protect personnel and assets.

You will conduct PHAs (HAZOP/HAZID/LOPA), implement MOC and PSSR, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and IEC 61511 while delivering safety training and maintaining risk registers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process safety engineering, preferably in oil and gas or chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of PHA methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
• Familiarity with safety standards like OSHA PSM and IEC 61511.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities
