Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Specialist for a remote-first role supporting their Nelspruit facility and other locations. You will identify and implement enhancements to manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate product quality, using data-driven methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in process improvement, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma experience, with strong analytical and facilitation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred).
• Proven ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decisions.
• Excellent remote collaboration and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with process mapping tools and data analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify improvements, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for process optimization using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Design and document new or revised process workflows, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate remotely with production teams, engineers, and management to implement changes.
• Track and measure impact of improvements, reporting KPIs.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on process improvement techniques.
