Placements24 is seeking a diligent Process Engineer to join our client in Mahikeng. You will optimize and control manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and efficiency, analyze data, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.

The role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of process control, SPC, and quality systems. Collaboration with production teams and continuous improvement initiatives are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in Process Engineering or similar manufacturing role.
• Strong knowledge of process control, SPC, and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes to meet quality and efficiency standards.

About the Role

This role is essential for optimizing and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for analyzing process data, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain and improve production standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of process control and manufacturing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure they meet established quality and efficiency standards.
• Identify process deviations and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
• Conduct validation and qualification activities for new processes and equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste and enhancing productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Solid understanding of process control , statistical process control (SPC), and quality management systems.
• Experience with process troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
