Collaborate with formulation, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness. This role emphasizes GMP, process validation, and data-driven optimization at a KwaZulu-Natal facility.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical process development or scale-up.
• Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, reaction kinetics, and process modeling.
• Experience with GMP and regulatory submissions.
• Proficiency in process validation, statistical process control, and experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and scale-up chemical synthesis or formulation processes for pharmaceutical products.
• Design and execute experiments to characterize process parameters and identify critical control points.
