Job summary

AB InBev Africa seeks a skilled Automation & Control Engineer to safeguard reliability of production systems from PLC hardware to ERP interfaces. You will develop documentation, train site staff and guide upgrades within established budgets and timelines.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering and specialization in Industrial Control & Automation, with at least three years of relevant experience in FMCG manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Specialization in Industrial Control & Automation is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial control and automation or completion of a traineeship.
• Experience in FMCG/beverages industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability of production systems software and hardware from PLC to ERP.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Coach and train production and manufacturing teams.
• Lead or support automation projects within budget and timelines.
• Provide after-hours support and ensure system up-time.
