Job summary

Röhlig & Co is seeking a Pricing Specialist for their JHB Seafreight Division in Linbro Park, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and a passion for pricing strategies. Responsibilities include estimating freight movement requests, reporting on sales estimates, and ensuring KPI accuracy.

Applicants should hold a Matric qualification with mathematical subjects and a 3-year import or export qualification at NQF level 5. Experience in the pricing area is advantageous, and skills in numeracy and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding and clearing procedures.
• Experience in freight forwarding pricing area is an advantage.
• Must be KPI driven.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and prepare freight movement requests.
• Record and report on sales estimates.
• Ensure all KPIs are accurate and met.
• Maintain effective communication with clients.

We’re looking for Pricing Specialists based in our JHB Seafreight Division at Head Office in Linbro Park who can help us stay competitive and profitable.

Education

• Matric with Mathematical subjects
• 3-year Import or Export related qualification at NQF level 5.

Knowledge and experience

• Have specialist knowledge of freight forwarding and clearing documents, procedures and practices gained through at least 5 years multi model estimates experience
• Numeracy Skills
• Customer service orientation - Able to handle a demanding customer and sales environment
