Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, seeks an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing our team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets.

The ideal candidate will have proven supervisory experience, strong coaching skills and a background in fast-paced retail, preferably cosmetics, with the ability to manage store operations, inventory and cash

Qualifications

Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics.
Previous supervisory experience with coaching/mentoring to achieve sales and customer service targets.
Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and events in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with retail POS software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Support Store Manager to lead, coach and develop Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
Assist in achieving store targets through exceptional customer service and teamwork.
Oversee daily store operations and ensure accurate inventory and cash handling.
