Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies are seeking an inspirational Assistant Counter Manager in Durban to play a leading role in the success of the store by supporting the Store Manager to coach and develop the Sales Associates, driving sales, and delivering top customer service.

Ideal candidates will have proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced cosmetics retail environment, with a passion for coaching others to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience in cosmetics is preferred.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Previous supervisory experience with coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and service targets.
• Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and events.
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must provide proof of right to live and work in country if invited for interview.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to lead, coach and develop the Sales Associates team to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
• Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and store standards.
• Contribute to achieving store sales and customer satisfaction goals.
• Assist with store operations including inventory management and cash handling.
