Job summary

Curro Holdings Ltd. seeks a Preschool Teacher (full-time) at Rosen Castle Tyger Valley in Cape Town, starting January 2027. You will deliver Curro’s preschool curriculum in alignment with ECD guidelines, while fostering learner growth through engaging, structured lessons and coordinated activities.

The role involves planning, assessment, parent meetings, and active classroom management to create a positive learning environment compliant with CAPS standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECD or equivalent (minimum NQF level 5).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an ECD teacher.
• Knowledge of the CAPS curriculum.
• Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coordinate a range of subjects per Curro curriculum and ECD guidelines for preschool.
• Plan lessons, manage administration, record-keeping and parent/learner meetings.
• Oversee classroom design, assemblies, and extracurricular activities as required.
• Observe learner behaviour and provide feedback to parents and management.
• Support aftercare, sleep times, meals, hygiene and daily routines.
