Qualifications

• Recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education or Development (NQF 4/5).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in facilitating preschool or early learning programs.
• Strong knowledge of child development theories and pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid on-site/remote model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for preschool children, aligned with developmental milestones.
• Facilitate engaging and interactive learning activities, including play-based learning, arts, and crafts.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and management.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Foster positive social and emotional development in children, promoting cooperation and empathy.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance program quality and share best practices.
• Maintain effective communication channels with parents, keeping them informed about their child's development and school activities.
• Manage classroom resources efficiently and maintain an organized learning space.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs of individual learners.
• Participate in professional development sessions and contribute to the center's continuous improvement initiatives.
