Job summary

Execustaff is seeking a QA/QC Line Inspector for our engineering, fabrication and manufacturing operations. The role focuses on visual, dimensional and welding inspections to ensure product integrity before handover or dispatch.

You will perform first-off, in-process and final inspections, verify material traceability, and report non-conformances in real time. Collaboration with production, engineering and NDT providers is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths & Science required.
• SAIW Level 1 or 2 certification advantageous.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or ISO 3834 exposure advantageous.
• Basic NDT Level 1 exposure advantageous.
• Familiarity with welding standards ISO 5817, AWS D1.1, AWS D14.3, AWS B2.1.

Responsibilities

• Visual & dimensional inspections of components per drawings and QA check sheets.
• Ensure welds and processes conform to WPS and ISO 3834-2 requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate NDT testing and witness testing as required.
• Log non-conformances and drive corrective actions with production and engineering.
• Maintain QA documentation and MDRs; escalate trends to QA Management.
• Coordinate with welders, supervisors, engineers and project managers during inspections.
• Adhere to HSE requirements and promote safe working practices.
