Job summary

Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator for our Branding team in Cape Town. You will operate and maintain embroidery machinery, ensuring accurate design placement and high-quality finished products.

The role requires 2–3 years’ experience with multi-head embroidery machines, knowledge of DST/EMB files, and familiarity with embroidery software. Applicants should be detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 (NQF 4) – Essential.
• 2–3 years’ experience operating multi-head embroidery machines.
• Ricoma experience will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of embroidery software and digitising is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret DST/EMB files.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multi-head embroidery machines during production.
• Load/change threads, needles, bobbins and backing materials.
• Set up embroidery files with correct placement, hooping and tension.
• Complete daily machine start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Record production output and monitor material stock.
