You will document every setup, maintain detailed notes, and work with toolroom and draughtsmen to align CNC programs with practical setups. The job emphasizes safety, readiness, and continuous improvement to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teams and work independently.
• Knowledge of CNC programs, tooling, and production processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Machine & Component Setup: complete setups per job specs and timelines; verify setup accuracy and functionality.
• Documentation & Repeatability: create and maintain detailed Setters Notes; record tooling adjustments and machine parameters.
• Collaboration & Problem-Solving: work with toolroom and production teams to resolve setup challenges; troubleshoot tooling or setup issues.
• Pre-Production Readiness: conduct checks to ensure setups meet quality and safety standards; perform trial runs.
• Continuous Improvement: identify ways to streamline setups and reduce setup times; suggest tooling/machine modifications and share knowledge.
• End-of-Production Procedures: return tools to locations after production; maintain and clean tools; initiate repair requests.
