Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an ISG Technical Specialist to serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers and partners design and validate infrastructure solutions across servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and software-defined technologies. This role blends deep technical expertise with customer-facing engagement to support data center modernization and AI/edge initiatives.

Travel and hybrid work expectations may be added based on local hiring requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or infrastructure consulting.
Strong knowledge of server, storage, networking, virtualization, and hyperconverged technologies.

Responsibilities

Provide technical pre-sales support for Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group offerings (ThinkSystem/ThinkAgile).
Design infrastructure architectures aligned with customer objectives and workload requirements.
Lead discovery workshops, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.
Conduct proof-of-concept activities and validate performance and fit.
Collaborate with sales to develop winning technical strategies.
Support RFPs, proposals, sizing, and BOMs for complex projects.
Enable channel partners through training and best-practice sharing.
Represent Lenovo at industry events and customer engagements.
