Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive powertrain development.
• Experience with powertrain testing equipment, data acquisition systems, and analysis tools (ETAS, Vector CANape).
• Familiarity with powertrain control strategies and calibration.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools for powertrain design and analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and calibrate powertrain components and systems (engines, transmissions, electric drive units).
• Conduct performance, emissions, and durability testing (dyno and in-vehicle).
• Analyze test data, identify performance issues, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and vehicle integration teams.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation (design specs, test reports, calibration procedures).
• Troubleshoot powertrain issues throughout development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with powertrain technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
