Placements24 is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with expertise in power systems to join our client\'s team in a hybrid role from Kimberley. You will design, implement, and maintain electrical infrastructure for energy generation and distribution projects, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and safety across major assignments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of power systems experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, and PSS/E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in power systems engineering.
• Experience with design software like AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PSS/E.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills for hybrid work in Kimberley.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications for power systems.
• Perform load calculations, fault analysis, and protection coordination studies.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
