Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management within power generation or related heavy industry.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and complex operational budgets.
• Strong understanding of power plant systems, processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in implementing operational improvements and driving efficiency gains.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of power plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the generation process.
• Oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and operators, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and inventory for the operations department.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and safety departments to ensure seamless plant functionality and proactive issue resolution.
