Qualifications

Minimum 8 years in power plant operations with 3+ years in supervision.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of power generation facilities, ensuring optimal plant performance and energy output.
Develop and implement operational strategies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage the maintenance and repair schedules for plant equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of plant operators, technicians, and maintenance staff.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular operational reports for senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of power generation technologies (e.g., thermal, hydro, renewable) and associated operational challenges.
