Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer with expertise in power generation to join our Pretoria-area team. In this hands-on role, you will install, commission, maintain, and repair power generation equipment at client sites across Gauteng and surrounding regions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of field service experience with power generation equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Gauteng region and work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service power generation equipment on-site.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Provide training to customer personnel on operation and maintenance.
