Job summary

Cashbuild is seeking a Cashier for External Applications Only at Moutsiya Mall. You will handle POS transactions with accuracy, ensure goods are paid for, and assist customers.

Strong numeracy and administration skills are essential, with willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Applicants must communicate in English and the local language, perform basic calculations, and maintain cash controls.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or minimum of 1 year work related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately
• Must have strong administration skills
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
• Must be able to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Balance cash including floats and petty cash to ensure no shorts or overs
• Capture the correct payment type on the POS terminal
• Ensure goods are correctly identified and captured on the POS terminal
• Maintain sufficient change at all times
• Perform daily cash-ups and drop takings into the safe/vault
• Handle cash transfers related to other stores, deliveries and quotes accurately
• Sign, file, and keep all documentation relating to the Cashier function
• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to Cashbuild customers at check-in and check-out
• Adhere to the company dress code and safety requirements
