Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of construction and development projects in Polokwane, Limpopo. The role covers planning, design finalization, construction oversight and timely delivery on on-site assignments.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction PM, deep knowledge of building regulations, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Procore and MS Project. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction project management experience in real estate development.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field is required.
• Experience with building regulations and standards is essential.
• Strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in construction PM software such as Procore or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of construction and development projects.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Oversee site acquisition, feasibility studies, and permit processes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulators.
• Manage construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedules.
• Control costs, budgets, and approve invoices.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues proactively.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Ensure projects meet stakeholder expectations and defined parameters.
