Placements24 is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to manage key construction projects on-site in Polokwane, Limpopo. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng) is highly desirable.
• 6–8 years of relevant civil engineering construction management experience.
• Proven track record managing large-scale civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and QC procedures.

Responsabilités

• Manage and supervise civil construction activities on project sites.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans and budgets.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance on sites.
• Monitor progress and quality; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Review and approve drawings, method statements and shop drawings.
• Administer contract matters including claims, variations and payments.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings.
• Troubleshoot site issues promptly and effectively.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients.
