Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Development Project Manager to join their team in Polokwane, Limpopo. This demanding role requires a leader with extensive experience in managing the full spectrum of real estate development projects, from site acquisition and planning through to construction completion and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in real estate development project management.
• Proven ability to manage complex development projects from initiation to completion.
• Knowledge of building codes and local development regulations is essential.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of real estate development projects from planning to handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets and scope documents.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee bidding and procurement for construction services.
• Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure quality control.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Secure necessary approvals and permits from authorities.
• Liaise with investors, lenders, tenants and community stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and zoning regulations.
• Prepare regular status reports and communicate updates to senior management.
• Manage closeout procedures and final documentation.
