Job summary

Omnia Holdings Limited (BME division) seeks a Head of Portfolio Management Office to lead the PMO that governs strategic initiatives, delivers value and provides clear portfolio reporting across the mining business unit.

You will ensure sound business cases, sponsor accountability, and alignment with capacity, budget and risk controls, while developing the PMO framework for Omnia Group initiatives globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Business Science, Economics, Engineering or Science.
• 15+ years' experience, including at least 5 years leading a PMO or portfolio of strategic and business projects, and 3+ years in mining, industrial or manufacturing environments.
• MBA or equivalent; recognised project or programme management certification; experience setting up or maturing a PMO (Advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own the BME project governance framework (proposed, approved, governed, delivered, reported).
• Maintain one integrated register of all strategic and business-critical projects and align with annual business plan.
• Provide project management capability to deliver high-priority, cross-functional projects for the business sponsor.
• Produce monthly portfolio reports for Exco detailing progress, spend, risks, issues and benefits.
• Build PMO capability and promote disciplined delivery, accountability and honest reporting.
