Job summary

pllp is seeking a Plumber to perform day-to-day maintenance across their buildings and assist tenants with plumbing issues. The role involves planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and fault-finding to ensure water, drainage, sanitary and hot-water systems operate reliably.

The successful candidate will have a Matric and an N1-N3 plumbing qualification, at least two years of experience, and strong fault-finding, reading drawings, and customer service skills to support building

Qualifications

• Matric and an N1-N3 plumbing qualification are required.
• At least two years’ experience as a plumber.
• Experience in leak detection, drainage maintenance and pipe-joining methods (soldering, threading, solvent welding and compression fittings).
• Ability to read plumbing drawings and work with building services and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding.
• Maintain and repair water supply, drainage, sanitary and hot-water systems.
• Detect and repair leaks, and respond to emergency plumbing issues.
• Assist with tenant installations and minor plumbing projects.
• Inspect and maintain booster pumps, circulation pumps, float valves and water-storage systems.
• Support water-saving initiatives and maintain plumbing asset registers.
• Record completed work, manage stock and coordinate with contractors where required.
• Follow safe working practices and applicable plumbing requirements.
