Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment seeks a dedicated plumber for our client in Cape Town, focusing on maintenance, fault-finding, and servicing water distribution and drainage systems. The role includes tenant support and emergency responses, with an emphasis on safety and compliance.

The successful candidate will have Matric, an N1–N3 plumbing qualification, and at least two years of practical experience. On-site work with contractors and stock reporting is expected.

Qualifications

• Matric is required and a formal N1–N3 plumbing qualification is essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on plumbing experience with fault-finding ability.
• Experience with water supply, drainage, and hot-water systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Maintain water supply, distribution, sanitary and drainage systems.
• Attend to tenant installations, emergency responses and minor projects.
• Ensure compliance and safe working practices; manage stock and reporting.

Plumber:

Our client in the development leasing and management of commercial and industrial real estate industry is seeking a plumber to join their team.

Job Location: Cape Town

Key RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

• Reactive Maintenance and Fault-Finding

• Water Supply and Distribution Systems

• Sanitary and Drainage Systems

• Hot-Water Systems lots (oil stains and building material to be removed).

• Tenant and Building Support

• Emergency Plumbing Response

• Tenant Installations and Minor Projects

• Compliance and Safe Working Practices

• Reporting, Stock and Contractor Coordination

• Water-saving initiatives

• Plumbing asset registers

Key Requirements:

• Matric

• N1 - N3 Plumbing Qualification

• Min of 2 years as a plumber with good Technical knowledge

• Leak detection and repairs

• Drainage maintenance

• Soldering, threading, solvent welding, compression fittings and other pipe-joining

• Experience with booster pumps, circulation pumps, float valves and water-storage system
