The ideal candidate has strong PLC fault-finding skills, experience with Siemens and ABB robotics, and a track record in preventative maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Shift work and heights may be required.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Millwright or Mechatronics qualification required.

This role is suited to an experienced maintenance professional with strong automation, PLC and team leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities and technical teams
• Diagnose complex electrical, automation and equipment faults
• Support PLC programming, troubleshooting and system improvements
• Coordinate planned maintenance and breakdown response
• Monitor equipment reliability and minimise production downtime
• Support maintenance improvements across production machinery
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed accurately and on schedule
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel
• Relevant Electrical, Millwright, Mechatronics or similar technical qualification
• Supervisory or maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing
• Strong PLC programming and fault-finding experience
• Experience with Siemens and ABB robotics advantageous
• Experience maintaining mechanical presses or heavy production machinery
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilityGood understanding of preventative maintenance systems
• Ability to work shifts where required
• Ability to work at heights where required
