Job summary

Placements24 in Upington is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to oversee all manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, uphold quality and safety, and lead the plant team to meet production targets.

You will manage budgets and P&L, implement best practices, mentor supervisors, and optimize resources to sustain high performance in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of plant or manufacturing management experience.
• Proven track record of managing production operations and achieving targets.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience in budget management and P&L responsibility is advantageous.
