Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Vereeniging facility. You will oversee production, maintenance, quality, and safety while driving efficiency and cost control.

This role requires a strong background in manufacturing management, lean methods, and ERP/MES proficiency to optimize operations and deliver results for a high‑performing team in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in plant/manufacturing management.
• Proven experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in MES and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
